Key Responsibilities:

Full-Time Site Director
Overview:
As the Site Director at Deakings Daycare you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of one of our childcare center locations. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will play a crucial role in implementing organizational policies and procedures, ensuring the delivery of exceptional childcare services, and fostering a positive and supportive environment for children, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Leadership: Oversee all aspects of the childcare center's daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, enrollment, and facility management, to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
2. Staff Management: Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise childcare center staff, including teachers, assistants, and support personnel, to maintain a high-performing team committed to excellence.
3. Curriculum Implementation: Collaborate with educational experts and curriculum specialists to implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and programming that supports the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of children.
4. Parent and Community Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, guardians, and community members to ensure open communication, address concerns, and promote a sense of partnership in children's education and well-being.
5. Compliance and Licensing: Ensure compliance with all applicable childcare regulations, licensing requirements, and safety standards, conducting regular audits and inspections to maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children.

All programs have a dedicated Program Coordinator who oversees each program

Hours are Part- time, Monday – Friday, 7:00 am to 9:00 am or 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm (throughout the entire academic school year.)
